April 22, 2015

Hartford, CT – The chairs of the boards of directors of NARAL Pro-Choice Connecticut and the NARAL Pro-Choice Connecticut Foundation announced today that Christian Miron will leave his position of Executive Director this month after almost four years of service, to take a position closer to home following his relocation to Massachusetts. Miron will continue to work with the organization in an advisory capacity to manage strategic priorities and ensure a smooth transition of leadership.

"NARAL Pro-Choice Connecticut is proud of our progress and success under Christian's leadership. We have some exciting opportunities to explore during the next few months and look forward to working with our member activists and communities to build on these accomplishments,” said Shannon Lane, president of the board of directors of NARAL Pro-Choice Connecticut.

"The NARAL Pro-Choice Connecticut board of directors congratulates Christian as he takes on his new position as Political Director of NARAL Pro-Choice Massachusetts,” said Stacy Missari, president of the board of directors of NARAL Pro-Choice Connecticut Foundation. "Christian’s work has helped elevate NARAL’s profile as a political leader in Connecticut. We’re eager to work with our members to keep the momentum and continue the progress we’ve made over the past several years.”

"It has been a distinct privilege to lead NARAL Pro-Choice Connecticut for the past four years,” Miron said. "Our successes are rooted in the contributions of devoted staff, talented coalition partners, member activists and board members. These are the people on the front lines working tirelessly to protect and advance reproductive rights for all in Connecticut. I am honored to have worked with each and every one of them.”
